Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: KS-LN-6
Station Name: Blue Mound 5.1 N
Report Date: 7/11/2025
Submitted: 7/11/2025 10:31 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
As of 7/11, .98" total rainfall that fell on the 6th/7th of July. Average for month of July (entire month) is 4.26. Rains over the past few months have kept things wet and things are drying out a bit - so I would say conditions are normal. Everything is growing like crazy, insects are everywhere, and there's a chance for TS over the weekend. Ponds are full and conditions are normal for this time of year with highs in the low to mid 90s. Hot and very humid! Crops are doing excellent. Corn is 8' high, even late beans are doing well. Getting wheat out of wet fields in June wasn't possible in most cases in this location, so much was lost. Harvesting of wheat was happening in July which is way to late for max yield. This was due to above average rains in May/June that kept fields soft/muddy.
