After a beautiful day with a high of 84 degrees F the evening and night were forecasted with rain. Storms rolled in from the West around 7 with steady light rain and a few thunder rumbles between 7:20-7:40pm cst. There has been consistent breaks in the rain and clouds, but more rain is forecasted overnight.
Plants are extremely lush with a few puddles in the street and in low areas, local pond water levels increased <.5in. With more rain forecasted I would not be surprised if some isolated minor flooding occurred.
