Received 0.8” of liquid precipitation for the month of February.  Only a few spots of snow remain.  Total snowfall for the year so far is only 17”.   The nearby ponds had started opening up earlier last week but have now refroze again after a couple days of cold temps late this past week.  We had high winds on Friday causing widespread power outage in the area from a tree falling on powerlines.  Wildlife are abundant with the mild winter again this year; many deer, turkeys and swans seen in the fields.
