Rain showers and warm temperatures during the last couple of weeks has resulted in an abundance of wild flowers and the grasses (Orchard, Smooth Brome and Timothy) show substantial and unprecedented growth for the month of June. We don't usually don't see this type of growth until mid-July. Stream flow has subsided. High temperatures (reached 86 F last week) has resulted in some drying of the soil.
