Total rainfall over the past week was 1.26". Grass had completely stopped growing over the past couple of weeks and was starting to turn brown. This rain helped put some green back into it. Corn had been rolling leaves during the heat of the day but the rain, at least temporarily, removed that stress. We'll take all the rain we can get since the longer term forecasts are calling for a drier July and we're most likely at the beginning stages of another summer drought.
